DIY Canadian Maple Leaf Onesie

Here is the most recent onesie I made as a gift for a friend of mine who is Canadian.   

I used red felt for the maple leaf and attached it with the fusible web sheets (Lite Steam-A-Seam 2, available at Jo-Ann’s). Then I stitched around the edges.

I love how this one turned out. I could see making one with big star or maybe a heart. Lots of possibilities!
