Wood Lockers in Progress!!

Look what Matt has been working on!!

The picture above is 5 of the 6 lockers in progress in the woodshop.

Here is one completed locker with the bench and base cabinet drawer underneath:

You can see where we started to test paint colors off to the right. Since the lockers will be in the garage (unfortunately we don’t have a good spot for them in the house), we I thought it would be fun to go with something a little more bold instead of traditional oak stain. White and yellow/gold were out because they would show a lot of the dirt. Since taking the above picture we’ve I’ve nixed the red and gone back to the original favorite of turquoise. Hopefully it doesn’t turn out too crazy or intense. We’re I’m thinking a color along these lines:

I still have a day or two to change my mind, though. Let me know if you have any suggestions or opinions!

I’d love to see an updated picture!! Looks awesome!

  6. I will definitely post an updated picture, but they aren’t painted yet. We’ve decided to wait until it gets warmer, so we can take them out in the yard and use the sprayer. Although, with the weather we’ve been having lately, we probably could have gotten it done!
